Milan / Carletto: piadina in Milan


The piadina romagnola, or piada, is a typical Italian dish from Emilia-Romagna consisting of a folded flatbread - simply prepared with flour, water, salt and lard or oil - filled with meat cuts and cheese (usually mozzarella or squacquerone).

Few days ago I was feeling hungry in Milan and discovered a small place in the navigli area named Carletto!

Carletto and his wife offer a truly artisanal piadina and a large choice of fillings using fresh and genuine ingredients!
